Quintiesse Nye Chandelier
The Quintiesse Nye Chandelier is a six-light ceiling fixture from the Nye range, offered by Belgian brand Quintiesse. The design pairs a compact central hub and radial arms with tall clear glass cylinders to create a calm, architectural silhouette suited to contemporary and transitional interiors.
Formally the chandelier is geometric and intentionally minimal: six straight arms radiate from a central cylinder and carry narrow, upright glass shades. The Nye is available in Brushed Natural Brass and Classic Pewter, and its rod-suspended layout is designed for a streamlined ceiling profile.
Construction combines a steel frame with tall clear glass cylinder shades that are open at the top. The metalwork has a satin brushed finish and the glass is glossy, emphasising a warm metallic-and-glass pairing that complements mid-century modern and modern schemes.
Light is provided by six independently accessible lamp holders arranged for even 360° ambient distribution. The fitting uses 6×E14 lamps (max 40W each); LED equivalents are compatible and vintage tubular lamps are recommended to suit the tall glass shades. Lamps are not included.
Installation is wall- and ceiling-ready via a circular canopy; the chandelier is supplied with four downrods of varying lengths to customise drop (minimum 371mm — maximum 1,237mm) and set the fitting at the appropriate height over a table or in a living space.
