Design For The People Nori Pendant, designed by BJØRN + BALLE for the Nori family, pairs a teardrop metal shade with an oiled walnut neck to create a refined Scandinavian silhouette. The Nori 18 pendant is designed for indoor, downward-focused illumination and reads as both a singular statement and part of a coordinated collection.
The form is deliberately simple: a wide, rounded base that narrows toward the top, a smooth matte-black metal shade and a decorative wooden neck that reveals natural grain. The Nori family is offered across sizes and scales so the pendant works alone or grouped in clusters.
Construction combines a metal shade with an FSC-rooted oiled walnut detail at the neck, and a matching conical ceiling rose. The visible wood grain provides an organic contrast to the industrial matte metal, while the slim suspension cord keeps the profile clean.
