The Mullan Lighting Spence Picture Light from Mullan Lighting is a cast-brass, wall-mounted picture light from the Spence range, designed to provide directional illumination for paintings, photographs and framed artwork.
Its long, trough-shaped shade has a curved upper profile and a decorative cast front with raised scrollwork and a central fleur-de-lis motif. A slender arched swan-neck arm projects the fitting forward. The Spence is available in Satin Brass, Polished Brass, Antique Brass and Antique Silver, and offered in Small and Large sizes (the Large has a 60cm shade).
Constructed from cast metal with a weathered, antique appearance on the Antique finish, the fitting uses cast detailing — including a braided lower border — to create a traditional, antiquated aesthetic that complements period and classical interiors.
The adjustable swivel joint with a visible thumbscrew allows precise aiming so the trough directs light cleanly across the picture plane. The arched projection reduces wall shadow and helps the light fall evenly; a warm-colour lamp is recommended for soft, flattering illumination. Lamps are supplied separately.
The Spence is designed for permanent, hardwired installation into a standard wall junction box and carries an IP20 rating, so it is intended for dry interior locations only. The product is made to order and standard returns do not apply. Warranty covers manufacturer defects only.
