Mullan Lighting Quin Downlight

Mullan Lighting Quin Downlight

The Mullan Lighting Quin Downlight is a minimalist surface-mounted ceiling downlight from the Quin range. Designed as a compact cylinder that sits flush to the ceiling, the Quin delivers directional downward illumination and is well suited to low ceilings in kitchens, restaurants and other interior spaces.

The Quin is formed as a two-part cylindrical body with a visible horizontal seam and a recessed mounting base; the lower section can be removed or adjusted for bulb replacement while the upper section remains fixed. The fitting is offered in a range of finishes to suit varied interiors, with the photographed example in antique silver.

Constructed in metal with a considered finish, the Quin shows clean geometric lines and a slightly aged texture in some finishes. Small side-fastening screws secure the unit to the ceiling and the deep aperture houses the lamp to keep the light source shielded from direct view.

This downlight accepts a GU10 lamp (sold separately) and is intended to provide focused downward light for task or accent applications. The recessed lamp holder reduces glare and works well in runs or groups to create evenly spaced pools of light.

Product notes: the Quin is IP20 rated for dry interior locations, Class I (requires an earth connection) and carries CE marking and UL certification. GU10 lamps are not included; specify compatible GU10 bulbs for lumen output and dimming behaviour. The fitting is manufactured to order in Mullan Village and dispatched within the stated lead time.

Lighting Design Online positions the Quin as a quiet, considered solution when you need controlled, directional ceiling light without visual fuss. We provide specification support and project-friendly information so you can choose the right lamp, confirm earthing and compliance, and achieve the intended ambience with confidence and clarity.
