Marset Ledtube Wall Reading Light

The Marset Ledtube Wall Reading Light, designed by Daniel López for Marset, is a recessed wall-mounted bedside reading light and spotlight that pairs minimalist form with functional intent. Its slim rectangular backplate and rounded recessed housing make it especially suitable for headboards or pared-back bedroom interiors.

The Ledtube is designed to pivot up to 360° from a cylindrical head that folds back into the recessed housing, hiding flush with the wall when not in use. It is offered in Aluminium, Bronze, Matt White and Matt Black finishes to suit a range of schemes and can be installed vertically or horizontally to fit your layout.

Constructed in metal with a brushed aluminium appearance on the pictured model, the Ledtube combines a refined mechanical joint with a discreet honeycomb grill at the aperture. The recessed backplate has rounded corners and a clean, low-profile silhouette that reads as a considered architectural detail when installed.

Light is delivered from a small integrated LED at the end of the cylindrical head, providing directional task light ideal for reading or accenting. The fixture has a high colour rendering (CRI 90) and the honeycomb filter traps peripheral light to reduce glare and preserve calm bedside ambience.

The lamp head operates intuitively: opening the head turns the light on and folding it closed turns it off, allowing the fitting to ‘camouflage’ itself within the wall or headboard. The Ledtube is supplied with a two-year defects-only warranty. Specifics such as driver inclusion, dimming compatibility and IP rating should be confirmed for each project at specification stage.

Lighting Design Online positions the Ledtube as a design-led choice when you need precise, discreet task lighting. We provide considered specification support and professional assurance for installations and projects, helping you select the right finish and confirm compatibility so the finished scheme achieves the intended balance of light and shadow.
