Foscarini Twiggy Twice as Twiggy Suspension by Marc Sadler is an enlarged take on the Twiggy family designed for generous interiors. The lamp pairs an oversized, truncated-cone profile with a visually light suspension, making it suitable for large halls, atriums and open-plan spaces.
The design retains the Twiggy line's sculptural clarity: a painted aluminium cone sits at the core and is topped by a liquid-coated fibreglass-based composite diffuser. The lamp is supplied in a choice of Crimson, Greige, Black or White finishes and is suspended from triple steel cables with a transparent electrical cord; the cables form the characteristic gently curved paths above the fitting.
Construction uses a painted aluminium inner cone with a PMMA prismatic disc and a branded PMMA protector for the upper LED board. The outer diffuser is a fibreglass composite with a matte, textured finish that softens the lamp's scale while preserving visual lightness.
The Twice as Twiggy is fitted with two internal LED boards to deliver both direct downlight and diffused uplight, so it provides balanced ambient illumination and a clear pool of light beneath. A version with dimming is available and can be specified for ON/OFF, Push or DALI control.
Practical details are built in: the LED transformer is housed inside the white painted metal canopy and the suspension can be supplied with extended drops (H. 10 m on demand). Note the fitting is IP20 and therefore intended for dry, interior environments.
