Foscarini Twiggy Floor Lamp, designed by Marc Sadler, is an arcing floor lamp that suspends an oversized drum diffuser on a slender, flexible rod. The Twiggy range balances sculptural form and practical overhead lighting, ideal where a ceiling fixture is impractical.
The lamp's fine arched profile is achieved with a fibreglass-based composite rod and a minimal, flat circular metal base finished in a uniform matte palette. It is offered in Crimson, Grey, Graphite, Black and White to suit considered interior schemes.
Construction includes a translucent upper diffuser disc and a PMMA lower diffuser with a polyprismatic internal surface to deliver direct downward light and a soft ambient glow. The double-sided LED board is mounted on an aluminium disc and protected by a PMMA cap to preserve light quality and diffusion.
Practical details include a transparent supply cable fitted with an inline dimmer that doubles as the on/off control, and four counterweights supplied for fine height adjustment of the diffuser. Additional arc-extending rods are available on request. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor use.
