Foscarini Caboche Pendant
The Foscarini Caboche Pendant is a jewel-like suspension from the Caboche range by Foscarini. Composed of a ring-shaped body covered in clear spheres, it is designed to provide diffused ambient illumination while acting as a decorative overhead focal point.
The form is a compressed toroidal ring with a hollow centre and a rounded outer profile. The exterior is formed from numerous clear PMMA spheres fixed in a regular matrix; the range is available in Grey and Clear appearance options.
Construction pairs transparent polycarbonate (PC) arches that support the sphere matrix with two powder-coated steel sheets that house a double-sided LED board mounted on an aluminium dissipator. The assembly is completed with a small opaline PMMA disc at the top and a satin-finish PMMA diffuser at the bottom.
Light is refracted and scattered through the PMMA spheres to create a sparkling, crystalline effect while the satin diffuser provides soft, glare-free downward illumination. The Caboche functions as a decorative ambient pendant that balances sparkle with comfortable, usable light.
Installation uses a three-point steel cable suspension with a white ceiling canopy; wavy power wires and an electric decentralisation kit are available. The pendant is rated IP20 and comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. A MyLight version provides Bluetooth dimming via the Casambi app.
