The Foscarini Aplomb Large Pendant, designed by Lucidi & Pevere for the Aplomb range, is a large-format suspension lamp that pairs a remarkably slim cement disc with a built-in LED light source to deliver a broad beam of direct illumination.
Its form is striking in its economy: a shallow, conical disc with an extremely thin profile that tapers to a narrow suspension neck. The transition from slender neck to wide, flat disk gives a minimalist silhouette; the lamp is offered in several colourways, with the ceiling canopy and cable finished to suit each shade.
The shade is produced from a special pigmented cement amalgam, cast in a mould to produce a matte, grainy surface that remains pleasant to the touch. The ceiling canopy includes a galvanised metal bracket and a batch-dyed ABS cover; cable colour is white for white finishes and black for other colours.
The Aplomb Large uses a built-in LED light source (11.7W, 2700K, 1279lm, CRI >90). It provides a broad, direct beam of light onto the surface beneath, making it well suited to dining tables and kitchen islands where clear, focused illumination is required. Dimmable variants support PUSH and DALI; an On‑Off version is also available.
