The CVL Luminaires Extra Pendant, designed by Sylvain Willenz for the Extra range, is a compact, architectural ceiling pendant that pairs a square brass core with a circular sleeve to form a quietly sculptural downlight.
The design deliberately nests a square cuboid inside a shorter cylindrical sleeve to create layered geometry and a refined profile. It is offered in five two-tone combinations: Satin Brass/Satin Graphite, Satin Graphite/Satin Brass, Satin Copper/Satin Graphite, Satin Graphite/Satin Copper and Satin Graphite/Satin Nickel.
Construction is solid brass with a satin finish and a black textile suspension cable. The slim circular canopy matches the satin graphite element in the photographed finish, and the main body shows no external fastenings for a clean architectural look.
The Extra Pendant is configured for targeted downlighting and houses a single GU10 PAR16 lamp in the square core (lamp not included). It provides directional light suitable for task or accent applications, producing a focused pool of light with clear shadow definition that complements minimalist interiors.
Installation uses the integrated low-profile circular canopy and an adjustable textile suspension cable to set the hanging height on site.
