CVL Luminaires Extra Pendant, designed by Sylvain Willenz, is a pared-back ceiling pendant that pairs a tall cylindrical body with a square base detail. Crafted in solid brass with refined brushed textures, the Extra is conceived for interior task and accent illumination where focused, downward light is required.
The design explores the interlock of round and square geometries to create a minimalist yet tactile form. It is offered in multiple two‑tone satin combinations including Satin Brass/Satin Graphite, Satin Graphite/Satin Brass, Satin Copper/Satin Graphite, Satin Graphite/Satin Copper and Satin Graphite/Satin Nickel to suit considered schemes.
Construction is metal, specified as solid brass with fine brushed finishes that give a quiet, architectural presence. The pendant is suspended by a slim black textile cable and includes a matching circular ceiling canopy in the darker satin graphite finish where shown.
Light is recessed into the cylindrical housing and directed downwards around the square base element. The fitting accepts a single GU10 PAR16 lamp (not included); an LED GU10 (example 4W ≈ 450 lm) is shown as a suitable option. Cable suspension allows height adjustment at installation to suit different ceiling levels.
The Extra requires a GU10 lamp (not supplied).
