CTO Lighting Nimbus Pendant
CTO Lighting Nimbus Pendant is a tiered ceiling pendant from CTO Lighting's Nimbus range, designed as a decorative ambient fitting that reads as a sculptural centrepiece. The cascading, tapered conical form narrows towards the base to create a 'waterfall' silhouette that works as an intentional focal light.
The design is formed from numerous flat, translucent circular discs arranged in overlapping layers. The Nimbus is offered in two finishes — Satin Brass and Bronze — allowing the metalwork to sit quietly against the softer discs in either warm or darker schemes.
Construction combines a metal supporting frame and a central suspension rod with the discs attached by small metallic rings and short chains. A radiating top frame provides anchor points for the outer layers while the rigid downrod gives the pendant stability and a fixed hanging height.
The off-white discs have a subtle organic texture reminiscent of capiz shell or frosted glass and act as diffusers, softening the internal light source to produce a warm, layered glow with a complex play of shadow and depth.
