The Astro Minima Round Fixed Downlight is a recessed ceiling downlight from Astro's Minima range. Its minimalist, round form and narrow bezel make it suitable for architectural ceiling illumination, including bathroom applications where IP65 protection is required.
Designed to sit flush in the ceiling, the fitting features a circular outer rim and a deep-set conical internal baffle. The baffle is fixed, delivering a static, downward-directed beam; the range is available in Matt Black and Matt White finishes.
Constructed in metal with a smooth, matt surface, the visible components are finished for a non-reflective, architectural appearance. The all-black interior option absorbs stray light and enhances the fitting's high-contrast aesthetic.
The downlight requires 1× GU10 lamp (maximum 50W) — lamp not included — and its deep recess provides cut-off to reduce glare. It is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmable GU10 lamp and is specified as suitable for bathroom Zones 1, 2 and 3.
